European Association “World-Our Home” (WOH) is an European non-governmental organisation active at European level working in youth, social, educational and cultural fields since 1999.
European Association “World-Our Home” joins member organisations from twelve Eligible Countries and more than 30 partner organisations from European and neighbouring countries.
The main goal of the organisation :
Promotion of European active citizenship, solidarity, multiculturalism, human rights and other values as well as non-formal education on local, regional and European level.
The main tasks :
* Promote young peoples active citizenship in general and their European citizenship in particular.
* Develop solidarity and promote tolerance among young people, in particular in order to foster social cohesion in the European Union.
* Foster mutual understanding between young people in different countries.
* Contribute to developing the quality of support systems for youth activities and the capabilities of civil society organisations in the youth field.
* Promote European cooperation in the youth field.

The organisation is situated in Rēzekne city in the Latgalia region of eastern Latvia in Rēzekne River valley, also known by the nickname Latgales sirds meaning The Heart of Latgalia. Built on seven hills, Rēzekne is situated 242 kilometres east of Riga, and 63 kilometres west of the Latvian-Russian border, at the intersection of the Moscow – Riga and Warsaw – Saint Petersburg Railways. It has a population of 35,883, making it the 7th largest city in Latvia.
- The organization is busy with European youth exchange projects, seminars, trainings, international cultural projects.
- The organization actively participates in Erasmus +, Europe for Citizens, Creative Europe, EEA Grants programmes.
- WOH is a hosting, sending and coordinating in EVS programme.
- The organization gives people the opportunity to learn foreign languages and get acquainted with different cultures in order to get European awareness, to gain more possibilities for social integration into the European community and make successful choice in their career.
- Organisation has a strong cooperation with public and education institutions and other European networks.
